Kind-hearted, Yet Homeless
He spent his life in the Department of Animal Welfare at the University of Botany & Animal Sciences, healing voiceless creatures and easing the pain of injured animals. Arif Baba was a man who couldn’t bear to see an animal suffer.

But today, after 32 years of service, the system failed him.
No retirement money.
No pension.
And worst of all, abandoned by his children.
This is not just poverty. This is the cruelty of a society that feels no pain for those who once cared for all.
Now, with trembling hands and a weak body, Arif Baba sits on the roadside — waiting for someone to offer food… or dignity.
This is the cost of ignoring “Sila Rehmi” — the connection of hearts and humanity as Allah commands to not cut off the blood relations.

32 سال تک یونیورسٹی آف باٹنی اینڈ اینیمل سائنسز میں جانوروں کی تکالیف کم کرنے والے “عارف بابا” آج خود بے یار و مددگار ہیں۔
جنھیں جانوروں کا درد بھی برداشت نہ تھا، آج انسانوں کی بے حسی کا شکار ہو گئے۔
نہ پنشن ملی!
نہ ریٹائرمنٹ کی رقم!
اور بچے بھی چھوڑ گئے…
اب عارف بابا کا سہارا صرف وہی لوگ ہیں، جو راہ چلتے ایک وقت کا کھانا دے دیں۔ ورنہ وہ لرزتے جسم اور نم آنکھوں کے ساتھ در بدر ہیں۔
کیا ہم اس حد تک “شعور” سے عاری ہو چکے ہیں؟
کہ ایک باپ، ایک دردمند دل رکھنے والا شخص — صرف اس لیے گمنامی میں مر جائے کہ معاشرہ اسے “کام کا نہ رہا” سمجھنے لگا؟
آئیں! شعور پیدا کریں۔
