Relief Activities of Shauoor Welfare Foundation in Theme Park Society, Lahore!

Theme Park Society in Lahore has been suffering from flood devastation for the past one and a half months. Sadly, even today, some areas remain submerged under 15 feet of water. The stagnant water has caused bad odors to spread, and mosquitoes, malaria, and various other diseases have made the situation unbearable for the residents. After conducting an initial survey, the Shauoor Welfare Foundation team, in collaboration with the CEO of the Charity Commission, Colonel Shehzad, organized a large medical camp considering the dire conditions of the affected areas. In this camp, free medicines and medical assistance were provided to more than 800 flood victims.

On this occasion, Shauoor Welfare Foundation also distributed mosquito nets among the local residents, while food was served through the Mobile Dastarkhwan to provide immediate relief to the affected families. Shauoor Welfare Foundation, along with the Charity Commission, Civil Defense, and other institutions, is standing with the victims during this difficult time and working to find effective solutions for water drainage, as the stagnant water may cause a major health disaster. The Shauoor team expresses deep gratitude to the Charity Commission and Civil Defense for their valuable cooperation in making this relief activity well-organized and successful. However, the biggest challenge ahead is the complete rehabilitation of these areas. We appeal to all concerned departments and authorities to unite and take practical steps for the recovery of the affected families. Restoring the lives of these people — crushed by poverty and stripped of their remaining hopes by the flood — is our collective responsibility. Let us join hands with Shauoor Welfare Foundation. There is still a lot of work to be done, and these people are waiting for our help and support.

تھیم پارک سوسائٹی لاہور میں شعور ویلفیئر فاؤنڈیشن کی امدادی سرگرمیاں تھیم پارک سوسائٹی لاہور ڈیڑھ ماہ سے سیلابی تباہی کی لپیٹ میں ہے۔ افسوس کی بات ہے کہ آج بھی کچھ علاقے 15 فٹ پانی میں ڈوبے ہوئے ہیں۔ کھڑے پانی سے پھیلتا تعفن، مچھر، ملیریا اور دیگر بیماریوں نے علاقہ مکینوں کی زندگی کو اذیت ناک بنا دیا ہے۔ شعور ویلفیئر فاؤنڈیشن کی ٹیم نے ابتدائی سروے کے بعد، چیرٹی کمیشن کے سی ای او کرنل شہزاد صاحب کے تعاون سے، متاثرہ علاقوں کی سنگین صورتحال کو مدنظر رکھتے ہوئے ایک بڑا میڈیکل کیمپ منعقد کیا۔ اس کیمپ میں تقریباً 800 سے زائد متاثرین کو مفت ادویات اور طبی امداد فراہم کی گئی۔ اس موقع پر شعور ویلفیئر فاؤنڈیشن نے علاقہ مکینوں میں مچھر دانیاں تقسیم کیں، جبکہ موبائل دسترخوان کے ذریعے لنگر تقسیم کیا گیا تاکہ متاثرہ خاندانوں کو فوری ریلیف فراہم کیا جا سکے۔ شعور ویلفیئر فاؤنڈیشن، چیرٹی کمیشن اور سول ڈیفنس سمیت دیگر ادارے مل کر اس مشکل وقت میں متاثرین کے ساتھ کھڑے ہیں اور پانی کی نکاسی کے لیے مؤثر حل تلاش کر رہے ہیں، کیونکہ جمع شدہ پانی کسی بڑی آفت کا سبب بن سکتا ہے۔ شعور کی ٹیم چیرٹی کمیشن اور سول ڈیفنس کے بے مثال تعاون پر تہہ دل سے مشکور ہے جنہوں نے اس امدادی سرگرمی کو منظم اور کامیاب بنایا۔ اب سب سے بڑا چیلنج ان علاقوں کی مکمل بحالی ہے۔ ہماری اپیل ہے کہ تمام متعلقہ ادارے ان متاثرہ خاندانوں کی بحالی کے لیے متحد ہو کر عملی اقدامات کریں۔ ان کے لیے دوبارہ زندگی کی بحالی ممکن بنانا ہم سب کی اجتماعی ذمہ داری ہے۔ آئیں، شعور ویلفیئر فاؤنڈیشن کا ساتھ دیں۔ ابھی بہت سا کام باقی ہے، اور یہ لوگ ہماری مدد کے منتظر ہیں۔
