On the occasion of International Day of Social Work, an event was organized under the auspices of Shauoor Welfare Foundation, in which UVAS Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Younis, Patron Shauoor Welfare Foundation Professor Dr. Nawaz (retired Vice Chancellor UVAS), Deputy Director Social Welfare Department Punjab. Ashraf Janjua, Professor Dr. Rukhshanda Nawaz, and Chairperson of Shauoor Welfare Foundation Dr. Shahida Nomani expressed their views regarding the day. Later, certificates of appreciation were distributed to the young volunteers of the Shauoor Welfare Foundation who offered their services in the rehabilitation of the flood victims in different parts of the country.

At the Jashn-e-Urdu event as series of events regarding Shauoor’s Awareness Program, Mr. Fakhhar Ullah Tahir shared the emotional and real-life story of Hasnain — a boy whose childhood was lost to poverty and pain.
